How to Treat Acne Scars Effectively?

I wasn’t one of those lucky few that never had a pimple in their life. I had terrible acne when I was a teenager, and this unfortunately created scarring and pitting on my face. The acne scars got worse as I got older. The pits in my temple areas and the scars on the sides of my face were the worst.

Is Botox Injection Really Works?

Dermatologists and plastic surgeons did expensive Botox injections to fill in these acne scars to the tune of several thousand dollars for one year’s worth of treatments. These injections did fill in the scars and make them less pronounced, but they also had made my face numb and felt like it was frozen.

Disappointed With the Results

The results did not last long at all, and usually, within a few weeks, they were well on their way back to the normal scarring and deep pits. These Botox treatments from the dermatologists were painful and extremely expensive. When I told a friend of mine from Sweden about these expensive skincare treatments, he laughed and said that they don’t do that over there.

HydraFacial for Mild Acne Scars

During a conversation with a technician from HydraFacial Fredericton, she said mild type of acne scars can be treated with HydraFacial, which is one of the most advanced anti-aging treatment. But it will not work for moderate acne scars, she added. I agreed with her because, after online research, I found this HydraFacial treatment effective in mild acne scars, according to several experts.

Home Based Acne Scars Treatment

Instead, he said they use more holistic skincare treatments like a pureed vegetable juice face mask. That’s right, that’s exactly what he told me a pureed vegetable juice face mask. He said that vitamin A along with all the other vitamins, is crucial to the health of our skin. This is why dermatologists use products like Retin-A for reducing and treating wrinkles.

Retin-A is a derivative from vitamin A and is very effective in plumping up and healing one’s skin. So this friend of mine told me that what I should do is take some fresh vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, broccoli, and asparagus and put them in a blender. He said to make sure I use twice as many tomatoes as any of the other vegetables so it is easier to apply and because the tomatoes are very high in vitamin A.

He also said to put a couple of ice cubes in the blender, so it feels more soothing and pleasing to the skin. Just be careful not to put too much ice in it will become freezing when applied to your face. After you’ve blended it into your blender, pour it into a bowl and then apply the mixture to your face and let it sit for a least 20 minutes. He said for your skin to be able to absorb the most good from this vegetable juice face mask, it needs to be left on for at least forty five minutes.

I thought when he told me that that it was just like a folk tale or something that had been passed around for a while but probably wouldn’t help much with my acne scars. I was very wrong. I began to see results pretty much immediately. Always great is the results got better each time I applied the vegetable juice face mask to my face and especially to the areas where the acne scarring was the worst.

After several months of doing this once or twice a week (usually on the weekends when I had the time to make an hour-long application of a face mask), I am now seeing results that are far better than the ones I was paying thousands of dollars to dermatologists for with Botox.

If you have acne scarring or any other kind of similar scarring with pitting and indentations in your skin, then you need to give this vegetable juice face mask remedy from my friend in Canada a try. You will be simply amazed at the results of what this can do for your skin.
